Down the Road
(2007)

RODNEY HAYDEN

On May 1, Palomino Records will release Rodney Hayden's Down The Road. Hailed by fans and critics alike, Hayden's new collection follows The Real Thing and Living The Good Life. The CD's first single is the title track, "Down The Road". Texas tour dates have been announced (see dates on back).

Produced by Hayden and Tommy Detamore (Texas Tornadoes, Moe Bandy), the CD features several musical guest stars including Detamore, Skip Edwards (Dwight Yoakam) Joel Guzman (Los Super Seven) and up and comer Sunny Sweeney. Hayden wrote six of the eleven tracks and teamed up with co-writers Robert Earl Keen, Trent Summar ("Love You") and Byron Hill ("Fool Hearted Memory," "Nothing On But The Radio") and Bill Whitbeck.

A native of Pleasanton, Texas Hayden began performing in local "opry's" at the age of 15 and signed with Robert Earl Keen's Rosetta Management while he was still a senior in high school. Already in his blossoming career, he has had the distinct fortune and pleasure to share the stage with legendary music makers Merle Haggard, Junior Brown and Charlie Robison.
